"You're going to go to hell." There is no hell.
"The devil made me do it." There is no devil.
"That's satanic!" There is no Satan, either.
"God says that you're a sinner." There is no God, and there is no such thing as sin.
"That is just evil." Evil comes from within us.

The things that we worship, and the things that we fear are all products of our own emotions, our own minds, or our own hands.

"Money is the root of all evil."
Money is an invention of man, so man must be evil.
"Money makes the world go around." The world is fueled by evil.
"I like to put money in the collection plate every week." Your churches are powered by evil.

Money is not evil. Money has driven men to greed. Greed has driven men to desperation.
In each of us is the power to be good, light and pure. In each of us is the power to be evil, dark, and stained.
It is up to each of us to decide the path we choose. Without one, there can not be the other.

Religion is filled with contradiction. The United States, for example, (which has the habit of calling itself America, despite the fact that the Americas is made up of 42,048,508 square kilometers, consisting of two continents,) has a population where conservative catholicism is the majority. Let's review the conservative catholic political agenda in the U.S.:
• Abortion is wrong because it "kills a living child".
• Instead of abortion, mothers who do not want their child should put the children up for adoption.
(Now, despite these views, and the overpopulation of nations such as India, China, et al,; the Catholic Church still takes a negative view on birth control. Now, my friend is going through the process of trying to adopt a child, which is a long, tedious, and very expensive process. Most people who want children want to have children of their own, which delimits the people who want to adopt children in two categories:
1. Women who are physically incapable of having their children.
2. Gay couples.
Statistically speaking, gay couples are in the lead for persons wishing to adopt... but, there is one more political agenda item left untouched:
• Gay couples should not be allowed to adopt.
So...let's recap: abortions are wrong. Adoption good. Adoption not viable because of cost, or biases against sexual preference. So, with this vicious cycle, we end up with tens of thousands of children growing up in state facilities and adoption centers.

This real-life contradiction is based on the premise that an abortion kills ends the life of a child. But, let's consider a couple of definitions, according to dictionary.com:

Life. n. 1. The interval of time between birth and death.

So, by definition, life begins at birth. So, what is an unborn child?

Parasite. n. An organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host.

Would most people think of killing a flea? a tapeworm? no. But, if one even suggests talking about killing the thing feeding and surviving inside the body of a female human, some people get up in arms. But, it' all about the contradictions. If people are confused enough, they won't be able to think for themselves.

SUBJECT: Clarification?

Your Holiness:

As a gay male, I wanted to thank you for making the church's position on homosexuality perfectly clear. I will immediately renounce my being, my instincts, and my way of life.

I do have some questions about some other things I would like clarification on if I could, though...

It is apparent that cannibalism is okay, (blood and boy of Christ sacrament,) but is there a preferred wine, and id there an age limit one should consider when finding food?

I know that I am not allowed contact with a woman while she is in a state of menstrual uncleanliness, (Lec 15:19-24,) but how do I tell? Many women seem upset by this question...

Also, my neighbour would like to sell her daughter into slavery as per Exodus 21:7, but she seems to be having trouble determining how much to sell her for...

Speaking of, my neighbour has recently complained about the burning of bulls in my back yard. I know that when I burn a bull on the altar, it creates a pleasing odour for the Lord, (Lev 1:9,) but am I allowed to throw some insence in there so the neighbours stop complaining?

I have also been trying to find myself some slaves. I know that Lev:19-24 tells me I am allowed to have both male and female slaves, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations. My neighbour tells me that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Does the U.S. trade agreement with Canada disallow this? Why can't I own a Canadian?

My boss insists that I work on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states that he should be put to death. Does the church provide this service, or do I have to kill him myself?

You holiness, I could not help but notice how cleanly shaven both you and your Cardinals seem to be, even though Lev 19:27 expressly forbids the trimming of any hair on the head or face. I find it surprising that you should sin against the Lord in such an open and defiant way!

I have a co-worker who also shaves. How should he be killed? (Lev 19:27)

My friend owns a farm and plants two different crops in the same field to keep the soil healthy. He also likes garments made of two different kinds of thread. Is it really necessary to get the whole town together to stone him? (Lev 24:10-16). I imagine it would be much easier to burn him to death at a private affair like we did with the neighbours who slept with their in-laws as per Lev 20:14.

Additionally, I know that Lev 11:10 says it is an abomination to eat shellfish, and Lev 11:6-8 says that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean. Since I already made a turkey for the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, and i can't make salmon or a ham for Christmas dinner, do you have any suggestions?

Your help on clarifying these matters is most appreciated. i know your infinite wisdom and knowledge of the good book will bring the true answers to light.

Thank you, in advance, for your assistance,
In service to the Lord,

Taier
