Everyone has the right to believe. However, the moment you begin to preach your beliefs to others, you violate that right.
The moment you hold indignation towards someone because of what they believe, you violate that right. If you wish to continue to have the right to believe what you believe, than it is unjust of you to violate those same rights for others.
This is why I hate discussing religion. When you have a belief system, which is based in no way on fact, and entirely on heresy, you will never get two people with different opinions to see eye to eye. Because the argument is based solely on opinion and belief, there is no right and wrong, but the convictions that people hold about their faith are often too strong for that kind of rationale... and it always ends in an «I'm right, you're wrong» environment. I love an open-minded discussion; but the words «open minded» and «religion» do not often go hand in hand.
Faith is a funny thing. Cynical, righteous people will have a die hard, unshakable belief in a God they can not see, touch or hear, but they will ignore, overlook, and believe against those things which they can see, touch and hear. Religion tends to be very contradictory that way. I have been told by a Catholic I will burn in hell because I am gay.. I have also been told by a Catholic that Jesus forgives all sins... So, which half of that is correct? And, how can they both be so certain that they will not both burn in hell for not believing in Isis? Ra? Buddha? Vishnu?

I do not believe in any organized religion. I do not believe in any one God. I do not believe in Satan. I do not believe in heaven or hell. I have read the Bible, the Torah, the principles of Buddhism, Hinduism, and other religious principles of the Egyptian, Greek, Native American, and African cultures. I do not believe or follow any one, singular religion.... although I do believe in a higher power.

I have experimented with various religions... Born an Anglican, raised a Wiccan, grown into a Buddhist, and dropped into Atheism...I do not believe that any one religion is correct or incorrect. It is not my place to pass judgment on culture, belief or religious principle. It is my belief that there is a higher power which reigns over humanity. Call it fate, call it a God, call it a metaphysical energy, call it Nature... whatever it may be, it can not be gauged by level of sin, by praying, or by servitude. It is within us, and without us. It is in everything we do. Right or wrong.

I have no church. I do not pray. I have no Sabbath. But I do have peace, which is something no one religion has ever known throughout it's history. I have found God... but God is not a figure, a person, a man nor woman. God is in all of us. In the very spirit and nature of the sunlight, the plants, animals, rocks and soil.

God has no face, no arms to hold out in forgiveness, no hands to be nailed to a cross, no round belly to rub, no animal features. God is nothing and everything. God is nowhere and everywhere. God is the beautiful stars in the sky. God is the dust beneath our feet. God is the incarnate cycle of life and death.... God is in everything we see, touch, smell and taste.... God is not one thing, but all things... God is not one man, one woman, one divine power...God is the cumulation of all things, beings, and powers.

If you are true of faith... if you are to be true to God, you must be true to everything that is God. And, God is Everything around you..
